In the fall of 2016 I worked with Mo Ali, Founder of Product Faculty, on his presentation for a talk he gave at Product Tank Toronto in the Shopify headquarters in Toronto, Canada. Mo has become well known in the Toronto product management circles because of his top-trending post on Reddit titled “The Death of MVP.“
This talk was designed to encourage Toronto’s product management community to think differently about minimum viable products. In this talk, Mo debuted an alternative to the Business Model Canvas, a method he calls the Product IQ Framework. The visuals for this presentation very minimalistic and focused. I was intentional about focusing on a single big idea per slide, setting Mo up nicely to move people through the talk and keep their attention on one thing at a time.
