So I've actually come back to Australia to do a three week writing residency to try and sort of kickstart a new project. Yeah. And you do have to submit an application form and put forward the project you're going to work on and take it quite seriously. So let us just rewind back to the beginning, to the origin story. I wish I was. Your YA novels are heavily inspired by your own experiences, like school rowing in the case of Head of the River. I think perhaps if I’d read a poem like this one 15 or so years ago, I wouldn’t have felt so alone with my multi-love feelings. In Episode 301 of So You Want To Be A Writer: You'll meet middle-grade author Pip Harry, author of 'The Little Wave', and our Furious Fiction superfans. Is that right? I think I keep in touch online.
